Wynberg Victoria Hospital – New Emergency Centre
Client: Western Cape Government Project Cost: R 90.9 mil Status: Completed
Project Description: The existing Emergency Centre at Victoria Hospital was no longer adequate for its intended use. Part of the facility operated out of a prefabricated structure that could not be renovated, and overall, the space was too limited to accommodate the high daily patient volume. While patients continued to receive quality care, the overcrowded conditions compromised their privacy and dignity. The goal of the project was to establish a new, functional facility within a straightforward building envelope, prioritising improved patient privacy and a more dignified care environment.
