Knysna Forensic Pathology Laboratory

Project Description: This project aims to replace the outdated Forensic Pathology Laboratory (FPL) situated in the city centre of Knysna, close to the Police Station. The new building comprises a new purpose-designed facility within the grounds of the Knysna District Hospital. The project involved repurposing and integrating an existing staff accommodation building. The facility is fully self-contained, with discreet access for forensic vehicles and a screened loading area that includes an EMS ambulance wash bay—ensuring minimal disruption to hospital operations and patients.
